Mr. Kamal was born in Sirajganj (Kazipur), Bangladesh. He obtained his Diploma in Marine Engineering (DME-21st Intake) from Bangladesh Institute of Marine Technology (BIMT), Narayanganj. Later he obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Universities of Glasgow & Strathclyde, Scotland, United Kingdom; followed by Specialist Diploma in Marine Engineering & Naval Architecture from Singapore Maritime Academy in 2008.
Mr. Hossain is an Incorporated Engineer, registered under Engineering Council, United Kingdom.
He was a successful Hon. Secretary of Singapore Joint Branch of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) & the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) and he is proudly holding membership of the both professional organizations.
He is also a corporate member of Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES).
He started his early career with Keppel FELS, Singapore in 2004 and later served for different multinational company in Bangladesh & Singapore. Currently, he is working as a Project / Business Operations Manager under Marine Energy Team, a spin of company from ERI@N in NTU.
He is very open minded & liberal on current affairs, likes to travel, make friendship and loves to play with IT stuffs in spare time.
